It's been a long time since we heard from the Chili Peppers. Following 2007's Stadium Arcadium, the band announced a brief hiatus due to exhaustion and lost guitarist John Frusciante to his solo career. But now they're back with their tenth album, I'm With You, which offers another slice of their dependable rock formula. Lead single "The Adventures of Maggie Raindance" is "a hard pop spin on classic Chili Peppers funk," according to Rolling Stone, and the album is influenced by Rolling Stones records like Tattoo You and Exile on Main Street. It'll be the first album to feature new guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, who was an equal voice in writing the record.
