The title of Racebannon's new album isn't posed as a question, a choice between acid or blood. That's probably because both words apply to the band's sound. Racebannon's abrasive, sludgy noise metal may have you thinking you're on a bad acid trip. And Mike Anderson's screeching vocals sound like he must be spitting up blood after every all-out go at the mic. Acid or Blood is the Indiana band's first album of new material since 2002's hilariously titled Satan's Kicking Yr Dick In.
