After Clipse announced that its brother MCs, Pusha T and Malice, would be releasing solo projects in 2010, it was difficult not to be skeptical of the news. Too many times the Thornton brothers saw their work get delayed repeatedly by label BS. But just two months after that announcement, Pusha came through with a freestyle exclaiming that he would be dropping his solo mixtape debut, Fear of God, Sept. 14, 2010. On that same date, it was also announced that several G.O.O.D. Music artists, such as Kid Cudi and Kanye West, would be releasing their latest efforts. Appropriately, Fear of God solely employs production from West and features all new, never-before-heard raps from Pusha.
