For those Peter Bjorn and John fans who thought 2009's Living Thing was too experimental and dark, they give you Gimme Some. This, the band's sixth album, finds the Swedish trio delivering what has been described as “pure pop-rock” with hints of punk rock thrown in, too. It only makes sense that PBJ would dive back into its more straightforward delivery as the band worked with producer Per Sunding on here. He is best known for his time with defunct Eggstone, known in their country as “the godfathers of Swedish pop.”
Can't wait for this album to come out in March! "Breaker, Breaker" is amazing. I love everything this band does!

Great album! I'm very picky but this one grabbed me from the start. Music this catchy should be illegal - and probably is given the lack of good stuff out there. Full review at http://www.kammentary.com/2011/03/first-impressions-gimme-some-by-peter.html
