This seven-piece band that fuses funk, Latin, and hip-hop has created a steady of releases since its eponymous debut in 1998. Following that release, Ozomatli has dropped a full-length album every three years in between a seemingly endless tour schedule. Like any other act, though, EPs and live records have also been thrown into the mix. Fire Away, their fifth proper studio effort, sees the band offering a floaty, poppy single featuring college radio-friendly Jack Johnson. But beyond that, the record is filled with more of that Latin-injected funk rock listeners have come to expect from Ozomatli.
