JD Twitch and JG Wilkes of Optimo have a reputation for creating mixes with songs that any normal person would never associate with one another. For their installment in the Fabric series of mixes, however, they've stated that they intend to lean more toward traditional club tracks. Their residency at Room Two in the Fabric club in London has guided their sound more toward the dance floor. Still, a traditional dance mix for Optimo is hardly traditional for anyone else, as can be seen by the track list for this mix: Fad Gadget, Thomas Brinkmann, and Basic Channel rub elbows with a host of far more obscure and left-field artists.
