Opeth has long been a favorite of death-metal fans, and that tends to lead to intense, chaotic live shows. In Live Concert At Royal Albert Hall is actually Opeth’s third live album (the last being 2008’s Roundhouse Tapes), but this is by far the biggest venue of the three for a band that has entered the top 10 of Billboard’s charts on its last two studio albums. In Live Concert At Royal Albert Hall was recorded in April 2010 as part of Opeth’s 20th anniversary shows. The recording will be available in a double DVD and can be packaged with a triple CD or a limited-edition 180-gram vinyl boxed set, each package priced accordingly. Never say the Swedish metalheads don’t give their fans what they want.
