After a long hibernation, Zach de la Rocha recently returned with the reunited Rage Against the Machine. Now he's collaborating with ex-Mars Volta drummer Jon Theodore in One Day as a Lion. The band's name comes from a famous graffiti tag that read, "It's better to live one day as a lion than a thousand years as a lamb." The five-song EP was recorded in Los Angeles' famed Ocean Way Recording Studios and mixed by longtime Beastie Boys cohort Mario C.

Long time gone since I heard an album dripping with rage like this one. They do need extra musicians to pump up their awesome vibe. Lyrics by Zack are genious, like always... I really want to meet that guy, to share my rage against the system, and to discuss how this world should be changed into a world of justice.
