Anyone who's familiar with guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez's band The Mars Volta knows that they never met an idea for a concept album they didn't like, and Rodriguez-Lopez's Old Money is no exception. The album's themes center around the evil of western wealth, and if a title like "Old Money" didn't say it plain enough, let's examine some of the album's song titles: "Family War Funding (Love Those Rothschilds)," "Trilateral Commission as Dinner Guests," "I Like Rockefellers' First Two Albums, But After That..." Not recommended listening for anyone with a driveway longer than a city block.
