Lowe enjoyed a small resurgence of popularity with his countrified 2007 comeback effort At My Age, so it makes sense his record company would want to put him before a new generation of fans with yet another “best of” collection. This two-disc, 49-track collection covers all the bases of his post-Brinsley Schwarz career, starting with his debut Stiff Records single “So it Goes,” moving through his Rockpile period (“When I Write the Book”) and wrapping with a trio of At My Age tracks. The requisite “deluxe version” comes with a DVD of nine music videos from the good old days (“Cruel to Be Kind,” “Little Hitler”), plus a film of a 2007 Belgium concert.
