Review

R&B crooner/songwriter Ne-Yo made sure to capitalize on the successes of his first three albums by releasing one each year. But for his fourth project, 2010's Libra Scale, he gave his fans and the Billboard charts some time to breathe. The reason for that minor two-year gap was based on Ne-Yo's decision to dabble more in acting. And, as it turns out, that wasn't the worst choice for him. He was able to pull off some product synergy with Libra Scale, which boasts production from Stargate and D. DoRohn Gough. It is packaged with a DVD that features a film written by Ne-Yo, who based all of the album's tracks on his script.
