Looking to shed their musical skin, this London-based band began to move away from its trip-hop origins following the release of their second album, 1998's Big Calm. With that transition to a more pop-oriented sound came less critical acclaim and an alienated fan base. But that notion wore away with 2008's Dive Deep, a record that combined pop, soul, and electronica elements to the delight of some critics and listeners. And on Blood Like Lemonade, the band looks to continue Morcheeba's "comeback" streak while building on the sounds heard on their most popular and successful albums, 1996's Who Can You Trust? and the aforementioned Big Calm.

What a worthless review, no mention of original singer Skye returning for this record after a 7 year absence. That's THE story of the new CD.
