Every sound has a beginning. Mogwai's suddenly shifting dynamics and brutal beauty originated in 1997's Young Team, a landmark album in the field of post-rock. Without it, bands like Explosions in the Sky and Kinski are hard to imagine. A little more than a decade later, the record is getting the deluxe re-release treatment. The two-disc set contains the original album with remastered sound and a second set of unreleased songs and live tracks.
