Michael Jackson The Remix Suite

The Remix Suite is the first album of a likely many to be released honoring Michael Jackson post-death. But instead of just re-packaging his greatest hits as is, the set, as its title indicates, features remixes from the likes of Dallas Austin, Polow Da Don, Stargate, Salaam Remi, and the pick of the litter, the Neptunes, that re-imagine 20 hits from the Jackson 5 and Jackson's solo career. The overall commercial prospects for the album are probably decent, but the artistic ones are sure to be as bankrupt as the Johnny Cash Remixed project or the Black Eyed Peas, Kanye and Akon's remixes on the 25th Anniversary Edition of Thriller.
