Mercury Rev Deserter's Songs

V2/Cooperative is re-releasing Mercury Rev's classic 1998 album Deserter's Songs. Although the reasoning is unclear (13th anniversary?), the label has justified its decision with an extra disc of demos and remixes. The band is celebrating the release by playing the watershed album in its entirety during a short tour in May of 2011.
