Go ahead and add noisy, frenetic, underground-rock bands to the list of things that define Los Angeles, alongside palm trees, traffic jams, and the occasional race riot. With its self-titled full-length, Meho Plaza seems set to take its place next to No Age and HEALTH in a lineage that stretches back to older touchstones like the Minutemen and Fear. Meho Plaza has built up a good buzz through a series of limited-edition EPs and copious praise from the L.A. music press. A tight trio, Meho Plaza whip up a lot of racket for a mere three musicians.
