If an artist dabbles even a little bit in musique concrete, then it's a safe bet that they're pretty serious. That being said, Matthew Herbert absolutely doesn't have anything to prove at this point, but that's not stopping him from creating One Pig.
One Pig will consist entirely of sounds recorded during the life cycle of a pig, starting at its birth, and through to its slaughter and consumption. If it sounds morbid, well, that's because it is. Herbert has pictures of the pig in question up at this blog. Clearly the man has never seen Babe.
