Two years after the release of his lukewarmly received sophomore effort, 2009's Unfamiliar Faces, this singer-songwriter returns with Mobile Chateau. Aside from being his third studio album, this also represents the first time Matt Costa serves as the sole producer of his material. Another first on here is the fact he has chosen to move away from his more infectious previous work for songs influenced by psychedelic rock of the '60s. In particular, Costa dropped names such as the Zombies and Donovan as having an impact on his songwriting for Mobile Chateau.
The album is just ok. I really loved his sound until this album.

Matt Costa is waaay ahead of his time, hence the reason for the lukewarm reception. Not the same ol' cookie cutter B.S. music that plagues the airwaves! Love that his sound continues to evolve! Good Isht Mr. Costa!!!
Uh-huh
