Mary J. Blige Stronger With Each Tear
Stronger
marks Mary J. Blige's 9th studio album in a career that will soon reach two decades. Blige has managed to stay relevant for so long by keeping her sound fresh and contemporary on each album. That formula doesn't look to change with current titans of hip-hop T.I. and Drake slated to appear on the album. Stronger also continues Blige's running themes of positivity and empowerment that have been a part of her repertoire since 2001's No More Drama. According to Blige, "the album represents who and what I am right now. I'm a stronger human being after all the growing pains. It's about life, love, change, strength."
