Review

It's not like Marissa Nadler hasn't opened up with her previous works, such as 2009's critically acclaimed Little Hells. But according to One Thirty BPM, her fifth album, Marissa Nadler, is apparently the most honest and natural record she's written. Adding weight to her proclamation is lead single "Baby, I Will Leave You in the Morning," a chilling, beautiful track from the Boston-based dream folk artist. She worked with producer Brian McTear on the record, which features 11 tracks and appears on her newly established Box of Cedar Records imprint.
