Yeah it is a May release date, for what I have heard, I enjoy all of his albums, because they are diffrent, you got to give him credit for changing it up

im extremely excited for the new album.been a fan for a long time. all of his albums are better then anything most musicians could ever put together. i do agree he needs to come back with some power and rip your throat out emotion.....but i would also second the call for a couple acoustic songs....but i dont think thats going to happen

im so ready for it, though. yeah i also heard March of '09 but that says g december, and if so, i'm going to kill somone... allbeit freddy the wheel or trent reznor or hell i don't really give a damn. ima go karazy if i don't get my damn hands on it. and "Eat Me Drink Me" Totally wasn't manson. that must have been somone posing as him or something, cause it sucked.

As a matter of fact, AMC, it does matter to him what people call him. He thinks people who call him by his christian name (i.e.Lars Ulrich) is a pretentious dick.

The last two albums didn't suck, they just really lacked the creative zeal of the previous three albums. I'm stoked that Twiggy's back and he had a profound influence on the records he made with Manson. So much so that he's equally responsible with Manson for their fame and past success. I'm first in line at the record store when this drops in December.

hopefully this album will be similar to the concept trilogy, if this album is in any way similar to eat me, drink me I will be greatly disapointed

Let´s just hope that the new Mr. Manson´s album is as good as the Antichrist Superstar, don´t get me wrong, I love all of his compositions, but the AS is by far the best album that Mr. Manson made, I don´t think that the release date it´s correct, because he is working now on the video for his first single, let´s hope it´s released before May.

The correct release date for marilyn mansons new album, "The High End of Low" is officially May 19, 2009.

The UK release date is May 18, and I heard that the US release date is a day or two after that.
On his site he mentioned that on marilynmanson.com there is a free download of the single off the new album (We're from America) although I have yet to find it.

I don't claim to be an expert on Marilyn Manson, but I think that I have done enough research to come to some conclusions that I hope some of you can share with me.

1. His name is Brian Hugh Warner, but he prefers to be called Marilyn Manson, so why can't you just call him that. I'm not saying it's the worst thing in the world to call him Brian, but give the man a little respect. If you respect the music, respect the man, and let him have his name.

2. I have enjoyed all of studio albums to date, and I think that while this is my personal opinion, he does a good job of exploring music, and mixing it up. I also think that Eat Me, Drink Me was one of his most mature albums he has released to date, because of the lyrics contained in the songs. Plus the beat from Mutilation and You Me and The Devil Makes Three was kick ass.

3. I'm sorry to say this, but Marilyn Manson is not a god. I love the man to death, and he will always be one of my hero's, but he is not a god. He might be the anti-christ though, which I pretty sure he prefers that title anyway. :)

4. Whoever made the comment about the Jews and Hitler earlier, I hope that you burn in hell, along side Hitler. Don't get me wrong, the man was a genius, and he certainly knew how to motivate the people, but his actions and beliefs were horrible. This is just my opinion though.

5. (Last Point) I think his new album will be very similar to Anti-Christ Superstar, just through analyzing song titles and how he has described it.

6. If you read this all, get yourself a cookie.

P.S. If were all Manson fans, why are we bickering like small children? Just think about what you post, before you post it.

'we're from america' is absolute pants, so hopes arent held high. The lyrics are below par for a typical Manson track, and i could have mixed the song better. From the previews, most tracks are so basic that he probably did them in his sleep, and so repetitive that it would seem Manson has indeed just invented DISCO ROCK. lol!! :)

I just gave this record a 0.5 and I haven't even listened to it.
