Maino The Art Of War

Brooklyn-based rapper Maino made a splash in 2009 upon the release of his multiply delayed debut, If Tomorrow Comes..., a record that jumped from one label to the next since 2005. But he was thrust into the public eye with hits like “Hi Hater” and “All the Above”, with the latter featuring former hit-maker T-Pain. Maino then took to putting together a proper follow-up, The Day After Tomorrow, which is preceded here by Art of War. The DJ Drama-assisted finds the MC taking things to a more cinematic level thanks to soundtrack-esque production and underdog rhymes.
