Madlib Madlib Medicine Show No. 8 Advanced Jazz

An unstoppable force when it comes to releases in 2010, Madlib continues his relentless stream of Medicine Show projects with an all-out jazz tribute. Advanced Jazz finds the West Coast producer putting his DJ skills on full display as he mixes and blends records from the past four decade. The tracks are meant to showcase a combination of jazz, funk, obscure, and fusion from the genre's legends, from John Coltrane to Eric Dolphy to Ornette Coleman.
