Madlib, Talib Kweli Liberation 2

Rather than hint at his second album with Madlib via Twitter or a press release, Talib Kweli announced their sophomore effort in the liner notes for his independent album, 2011's Gutter Rainbows. The second Liberation album comes more than four years after the original, which dropped on New Year's Eve 2007. Although it was originally offered for free, Liberation soon became an album available for purchase only. It's unclear if Liberation 2 will follow the same pattern, though we will update this page when more information is revealed. What we do know, though, is that Madlib's at the helm of every beat on here while Kweli's sure to be joined by his Blacksmith family.
