Lupe Fiasco

LupE.N.D.

Release Date: 2009
Label: Atlantic

Abstract

Lupe Fiasco has been telling anyone that will listen that LupE.N.D. will be his "final" album because by then he will have said everything he needs to say (after two other LPs, 2006's Food & Liquor and 2007's The Cool). But apparently one disc wasn't enough to finish off Lupe's statement-- he needed three, standing for the letters E.N.D., which Lupe says stand for "Everywhere," "Nowhere," and "Down Here." The album is slated for a late 2009 release, but three full discs of raps can't come together haphazardly. If Lupe pulls this off, it could be one of the most ambitious/crazy albums in hip-hop history.

I cant believe I have to wait so long - cant wait to know what happens next with Michael Young aka The Cool!

I wish people could actually understand his lyrical wordplay and content, he is withoud a doubt the #1 MC in hip hop. Only after he retires is when the hip hop community appreciate his work

I can't imagine LupEND releasing December 29. Thats only one year! And he says its his last album and he's intending it to be a triple album. Considering how long he spends on an album, he wouldn't put out his last and greatest album in that short of a time. We'll see though

Man, I'm really going to miss Lupe. He's been an inspiration and as far as hip-hop goes, he has a lot of potential and he is very lyrical. If only people would realize that.

Man, I'm really going to miss Lupe. I remember his first hit single "I Gotcha" and seems just like yesterday. As far as hip-hop goes he has a lot of potential, he's very lyrical
and he has a life inspiring message to help you in life.
People won't realize what they're missing until it is too late.

I first started listening to Lupe about 6 months ago and I havent stopped since. He is with no question the best lyrical rapper in the game right now. I cant wait till "Everwhere" comes out.

yo Lupe is the sh**t but just cuz this is his "last" album that dosent mean he aint dropping mixtapes he never said he quitting music entirely and i personally would love to her Lupe destroy someone else’s beat with real lyrics no doubt he is gonna come back to rapping he can't just leave like that look at 50 cent he was suppose to quit when kanye beat him in record sales but he didn't Lupe is most likely saying this so he can get people to notice him cuz you dont know what you got till it’s gone think about it....plus he is gonna be featured in songs to he aint quitting just like that

hey that sounds right. look at jay-z, you really cant just quite like that. lupe is so ill, some people really cant understand him, but still i would doubt that he quite like that. he quotes "there's an 80 85% chance of me leaving the game"

I saw Lupe in concert just after he released The Cool. It was one of my favorite concerts to date. He can really put on a show. His music just puts you in a mood. You can't always describe it, but it just feels good. It would be a big accomplishment to make a triple album, but I'd hate to see him leave the game so soon.

he's deff gonna make mix tapes after words he's said many times he hates the mainstream industry think of it like him freeing himself the industry to make out of this world music!i cant wait to hear his first Mix tape after all this! theirs no money in making albums any way...

this is going to be a chapter to end a legacy. The hardest part when being an artist of any type painting, music, clothing, whatever, is knowing when to quit. to stop the piece where its at to leave it a master piece he will stop the mass media rap/hip hop game but only to get deeper under the skin of the industry. He will make mix tapes that will leave an image in one's mind of lupe on a throne and his feet resting on the skull of wayne.

Mann. I rememeber when i first heard Superstar, I liked it. So i kept searching for more. The lyrics he uses are like poetry, such meaning, and had such influence on my life, I told EVERYONE That my favorite and best rapper alive is LUPE, and im never gonna stop, He's just so Lyrically Advanced . But only the select few understand music that requires thinking. Its sad, but those few get the best experiances. Im really gonna miss Lupee.

It's going to be a damn shame because I first listened to "The Cool" and was really impressed! After that I went and bought "Food and Liquor" and liked that one better than the second album!

By far my favorite rapper, He is more than just an educated rapper, he's so far ahead lyrically, metaphorically, and all out wordplay, I love this guy
