More than ever before, Ludacris split his time between the record and film studios while working on his eighth album, Ludaversal. The rapper/actor picked up several leading roles following the release of 2008's Theater of the Mind, including '09's Gamer and '11's Fast Five. But he still found time to work on Ludaversal, which serves as the sequel to Theater of the Mind and features production from the Neptunes. It's also his first release since 2010's middling Battle of the Sexes.
