Love As Laughter is a long-running indie-rock band headed up by indie luminary Sam Jayne. Jayne was in the seminal if short-lived band Lync and also played on Beck's One Foot in the Grave. Modest Mouse's Isaac Brock has done his part to help Love As Laughter get more attention, taking the band out on tour with Modest Mouse and signing them to his label, Glacial Pace. (Holy is the band's first album for Brock's imprint.) Brock also guests on guitar on a couple of songs. TK Webb, piano man Tommy Mandel, and Seattle music scene man Robin Peringer also show up.

I heard some of this on myspace, I kinda liked the band before but now I'm pretty sure they are one of the most epic indie bands ever.
