Toronto’s Little Girls began in 2009 as the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Josh McIntyre and has since expanded to a full band. McIntyre originally released some home recordings under the moniker, which resulted in a lot of blog attention. Little Girls’ surf rock sound has been compared to Joy Division and the Clean and nabbed them tour dates alongside Japandroids, Wavves, and Monotix. Concepts is their first full-length, following up the release of several popular EPs.
