Known early on for his affiliation with Lil Jon and the ATL crew that rolls around him, Lil Scrappy built a name for himself, helping to popularize the Atlanta crunk scene on a national level. Now, after the disappointing independently released Prince of the South, comes Scrappy’s first album with Ludacris’s Disturbing the Peace label, The Grustle. While singles “Look Like This” and “Addicted to Money,” featuring Gucci Mane and Ludacris respectively, can’t stand side by side with Scrappy’s early work with Trillville, they display a rapper who is determined not to be pigeonholed. Other guests include Maino, Diamond, Trey Songz, and Emani. Production is handled by Don Cannon, Don Vito, DJ Montay, J.U.S.T.I.C.E League, and Street Symphony.
