Though Kool G Rap got slapped with the living-legend tag a while ago, ensuring he'd never have to work again outside of guest spots on VH1's Hip Hop Honors shows, the legendary (see, here we go!) Queens rapper is back cutting verses with Riches, Royalty & Respect, his fourth solo album and first since 2002. The first song off the album, "Sad," features G Rap gritting it out about the hood over a soul instrumental laid down by Supa Dave. It's been a while since his days with DJ Polo, and those VH1 shows are probably the only time he's going to get any serious mainstream attention, but KGR continues to age gracefully. (At least he hasn't turned to Auto-Tuner like Flava Flav has!)
