It took the death of former Killing Joke bassist Paul Raven to bring back together the original lineup of the seminal post-punk band, which had not been intact since 1982's Revelations. Appropriately, the band set out to create an album that recaptures their previous glories and lyrical concerns for their 14th full-length outing, and first for European label Spinefarm. The album is being released in a plethora of formats, notably a double-disc deluxe edition that showcases other bands covering classics from the Killing Joke catalog, including Metallica, Foo Fighters, Helmet, and Fear Factory.
