Kidz In The Hall Occasion

The Occasion EP is the first release since Kidz in the Hall's third full-length, Land of Make Believe, a disappointing release that featured the duo hopping on the electro boom-bap/hipster-rap wave. But for Occasion, Naledge and Double 0 have dialed it back and gone for their own sound. It's one that remains littered with synthesizers but also injected with rock guitars and crisp drums. This can be heard especially on lead single "Break it Down," a step forward from the style heard throughout their free Semester Abroad mixtape.
