Kelly Rowland's oft-delayed third album, Here I Am, is a sonic departure from her first two records, 2002's Simply Deep and '07's Ms. Kelly. Whereas the former dabbled in pop-rock and the latter was far more hip-hop-oriented, Here I Am embraces a full-on uptempo, dance sound. At least, that's how she described the album to the MHMS radio station. Helping her accomplish that sound are producers such as David Guetta, Dr. Luke, Jim Jonsin, and StarGate, among others. Guest vocalists include Lil Wayne, who appears on "Motivation," and Pitbull.
