Since the release of 2006's Kelis was Here, perennially underrated R&B songstress Kelis has gotten arrested, divorced Nas and given birth to her first child. On Flesh Tone, her fifth studio album, Kelis once again teams up with a group of A-list producers, including David Guetta, will.i.am, Boyz Noize, Diplo and Switch for a decidedly dance-centric affair. Lead single "Acapella" finds Kelis assuming the role of a house diva over a characteristically huge Guetta beat.  Flesh Tone is Kelis' first release on will.i.am's Interscope records imprint.
