Pop sensation Perry’s follow up to her mega-hit One of the Boys will take the form of an MTV Unplugged set, which was recorded live in New York on July 22, 2009. On this release (which will come out in both CD and DVD editions) Perry will revive her biggest hits, specifically, “I Kissed a Girl” and “Waking Up In Vegas,” both of which will be given new, acoustic arrangements. The disc will also feature the debut of two new Perry tunes. One is a cover of the Fountains of Wayne song “Hackensack,” while the other is an original composition titled “Brick By Brick.” Rounding out the disc are versions of “Ur So Gay,” “Thinking of You,” and “Lost,” all from One of the Boys. The DVD release will also feature exclusive interview footage.
