Kaki King Junior

If the album art of Guitar God(dess) Kaki King's fifth full-length record reminds you of a movie poster for a spy flick, you're on the right track. Inspired in part by Ben McIntyre's 2007 novel Agent Zig Zag,  espionage heavily influences Junior's lyrical and musical themes. Working with multi-instrumentalist Dan Brantigan and drummer Jordan Perlson, King has created a sonically diverse record with songs ranging from upbeat rockers to instrumentals to jangly pop.
