Canadian teen pop sensation Beiber and his management decided to split his debut CD over two releases, thinking fickle young audiences wouldn’t want to wait a long time for a follow-up to his debut. The first part, which was released in Nov. 2009, was certified platinum, even though it was an EP. This release is full-length, and has already spawned a Top Five hit with its lead single, “Baby,” featuring Ludacris. A follow-up song, “Never Let You Go,” looks slated for a single release as well, since a video has purportedly been shot. The rest of the CD should be more candy-coated pop done under the auspices of Beiber producer/mentors such as Usher, Tricky Stewart, The-Dream and the Midi Mafia.
