Julie Doiron

Loneliest in the Morning

Release Date: July 22, 2008
Label: Jagjaguwar

Abstract

Surprise, surprise! It's another reissue from the '9os. Loneliest in the Morning was the second solo release from Julie Doiron and first under her own name, after originally going by the moniker Broken Girl. The former Eric's Trip bassist recorded Loneliest in Memphis with Dave Shouse of the Grifters. This re-release features three bonus tracks -- "Second Time," "Who Will Be the One," and "Too Much" -- which were originally found on rare seven-inches. Loneliest was released by Sub Pop in 1997; the re-release is out on Jagjaguwar, Doiron's label home for quite some time now.
