Two improvisational heavyweights come together for this 47-minute live recording. O’Rourke has played with and produced anyone worth knowing in the contemporary indie-rock scene and beyond; Connors might be a lesser known name, but collaborations with Smog, Jandek, Thurston Moore and John Fahey indicate that he’s got some serious form. O’Rourke and Connors, who met on a European tour in 1997, perform three lengthy pieces on this recording, which is only the second time they’ve been captured on tape together.
