    Most hip-hop fans who are familiar with J-Live likely know his name from his strong catalog of underground releases, from his 2001 debut, The Best Part, through 2010's Undivided Attention EP. But on here, the full-length S.P.T.A., J-Live is looking to put all of his skills on full display. The New York native told The Well Versed that this album finds this three sides -- rapper, DJ, and producer -- breaking up into three distinct parts. As far the MC section of the record goes, you can expect lyrics dealing with the responsibility of artists and how J-Live believes they should speak the truth and their minds, provoke thought, and inspire listeners to become critical thinkers
