Previously known as Infamous 2-0, Georgia rapper I-20 slowly but surely built a buzz for himself since appear on Ludacris's debut. The two would continue to collaborate over the years, with I-20 releasing his own debut, Self Explanatory, in 2004. From there, he put more of a focus on his online presence by releasing mixtapes, such as The Gray Area. The free project, which is hosted and mixed by DJ Bobby Block, is his first since mid-2010's The Sleeping Giant. It also features production from the likes of Buckwild and frequent Nas-collaborator Salaam Remi.
