In two short years, Hurricane Chris has released a top ten single ("A Bay Bay"), created a song about Academy Award winner Halle Berry, to which she danced to on Ellen, and in the most bizarre twist of all, performed on the floor of the Louisiana state legislature. Not bad for someone who hasn't even turned 21 yet. The Shreveport native is set to release his second album, the follow up to 2007's 51/50 Ratchet. The new album's title refers to any restraints Hurricane might have encountered upon first entering the rap game and with having one album already under his belt, the restrictions will be less this time around, according to him. Unleashed still does promise more of the same club-ready ratchet tracks found on the debut, but a collaboration with Lil' Boosie titled "Mr. Grim Reaper" finds the young rapper expanding his themes as he takes on the topic of mortality among the youth. Among the producers who contributed to the album are J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Don Vito, DJ Montay, Shawty Redd and Phunk Dawg.
