House With No Home is the sophomore album from Horse Feathers. The band's first record, 2006's Words are Dead, was nominated for a Plug Award for Americana Album of the Year. Horse Feathers is anchored by Justin Ringle. Originally from Idaho, Ringle moved to the musical hotbed of Portland, Oregon in 2004. There he hooked up with musician Peter Broderick, who has played with Dolorean, Norfolk & Western, and Loch Lomond. Broderick brought in his sister Heather to sing backup and play cello. It is that three-part incarnation of Horse Feathers that again appears on House With No Home.
