Wilson helped reinvigorate female country singing with 2003’s “Redneck Woman,” which at the time was the first chart topping country album by a woman in two years. Her debut album, Here for the Party and its follow up, All Jacked Up, were both million sellers, but 2007’s One of the Boys failed to find an audience. The Grammy Award-winning singer then “mutually” parted ways with her label, Sony Music Nashville, and she founded Redneck Records in 2009, on which her new CD will be released. It was been preceded by a single that was released to radio back in October, “Work Hard, Play Harder.” Wilson produced the set herself along with Blake Chancey and Big & Rich's John Rich.
