Gorilla Zoe King Kong

Gorilla Zoe opted to take a different route after dropping his sophomore album, Don't Feed Da Animals, to notable mainstream success in March 2009. Rather than immediately begin working on a third project, he hit the web hard. Pretty damn hard, actually, as he put out a mixtape every day on DatPiff.com during February 2010. Yes, you read that right – one mixtape a day for a month. Zoe then went back to the studio to perfect King Kong, which was due to drop in the months following his online attack. Like too many Bad Boy-affiliated projects, though, it was delayed until later in the year. Details remain scarce on the record, but expect his Boyz n da Hood crew to make an appearance along with OJ Da Juiceman and other like-minded Southern spitters.
