This six-person band has members that originally hail from locales as disparate as Atlanta, Memphis and Austin, although they all now make their homes in Brooklyn, New York. Their sound is said to blend girl-group vocals with garage punk and an irreverent attitude reminiscent of the B-52s. They’ve sold out runs of their 7-inch single on Rob’s House Records as well as their EP on the Mexican Summer label, so expectations are high for their debut full-length on Hardly Art (an imprint of Sub Pop).
