Television series and the genre of musicals are usually a recipe for abhorrence and failure, if Viva Laughlin and Cop Rock has taught us anything. But then along came FOX's Glee, a perky, charming comedy centered around a high school glee club of outcasts that belt out numbers from pop's past and present. The performances from the show made their mark on iTunes, so it was only a matter of time before a soundtrack was released to capitalize on Glee's success. The very first soundtrack from Glee will feature songs from the season's first nine episodes, including covers of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'," Rihanna's "Take A Bow" and yes, Kanye West's "Gold Digger."
