Review ·

Future of the Left picked up a lot of attention for their debut album, Curses, in 2007, due mainly to the return of former Mclusky frontman Andy “Falco” Falkous. Combining praise from NME with an almost polemical commitment to new media and “forward thinking,” Future of the Left ended up with tour dates with Against Me! And Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. After some stalling on the band’s second album (and cancelling tour dates in order to finish it), Travels With Myself And Another, the heavily anticipated follow-up to Curses, will be released by top indie label 4AD, which has helped make stars of everyone from the Pixies to TV On the Radio.
