Freeway Diamond In The Ruff

After maintaining his role as the gravelly voiced, underrated member of the Roc-A-Fella collective, Freeway took an alternate route in 2009. He linked up with producer Jake One to craft an entire album together, which wasn't terribly surprising as they had worked together previously. But what changed was that the LP, The Stimulus Package, found a home on Rhymesayers Entertainment, which is known for its roster of underground acts. The album was a success for the duo, which gained new fans in indie rap heads intrigued by the Rhymesayers co-sign. From there, Free continued collaborating with Jake One while crafting Diamond In The Ruff. The album is also set to include production from previous collaborator Bink! and hitmaker Just Blaze.
