Actually, it was two, as Freddie Gibbs dropped a pair of impressive mixtapes within the span of a year with The Miseducation Of Freddie Gibbs and midwestgangstaboxframecadillacmuzik. He wouldn't keep fans waiting, either, as he prepped both the Str8 Killa No Filla mixtape and Str8 Killa EP for release in the summer of 2010. The gangsta-rap-centric MC was also plotting Devil's Palace. This full-length project serves as Gibbs' chance to boast over production solely from the Alchemist, whose well known for providing gritty bangers for the likes of Raekwon, Prodigy, and Styles P.
